Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Review

Last week on the blog I talked all about face masks and one of my favorites that I mentioned was the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur Mask as well of a couple other products from the Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare line. ANYWAYS, I really wanted to talk more about them but didn’t want to make the post any longer than it was so I figured we could chit chat about them today!

I am all for trying new beauty products and sharing them with you on the blog (and I hope to be sharing more!). Dr. Dennis Gross is a dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon that created his skin care line, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare, which is inspired by his patients. From peels to cleansers to face masks and moisturizers, Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare has it all (& they’re affordable!).

Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur Mask / This is one of my favorite face masks at the moment, mostly because it is multifunctional. You can use the colloidal sulfur mask as a regular face mask OR you can use it as a spot treatment on those acne prone areas! To wear it at night, or even under makeup (!!!), apply a thin layer and wash off in the morning (or apply your makeup over it!).

You can read my thoughts on this mask in my original post, which you can read here.

Ferulic + Retinal Eye Cream / This is honestly only the second or third eye cream I’ve ever tried and I have no complaints about it. You only need a very small amount, it doesn’t burn my skin, and it doesn’t cause me to break out. For the size, I would definitely say it’s a little more money than I would like to be spending on an eye cream ($68!). But, with that being said, it works wonders and it will for sure last me a good chunk of time and my mom loves it, too!

Firming Peptide Milk /  I was very hesitant to try this product because all I could think about was washing my face with milk, but that’s not what this product is at all! The firming peptide milk is actually a moisturizer that is made up of collagen amino acids and milk to hydrate, reinvigorate, and firm your skin. The cap on the product is specially designed to get the perfect dosage every time so you don’t have to worry about over or under moisturizing!

Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel / When I think of a peel, I think of a peel off mask. Do you blame me though? The retinol peel is actually applied through a treatment pad which you massage onto a clean, dry face two to three times per week. It works best when you sleep, helping your skin produce collagen and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Super quick and easy to use!

Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel for Sensitive Skin / Just like the wrinkle recover peel, this product is applied via a treatment pad which you massage onto your skin once a day. It’s a two step process where you first exfoliate and smooth and the second step you firm and lift. I have not yet tried these specific pads yet, but I am keeping them for when it’s that time of the month because my skin is a little more sensitive than normal.

Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel / The universal daily peel is the same thing as the ultra gentle peel for sensitive skin, but for normal, combination, dry, or oily skin! I have used this peel and I absolutely loved it. After five days of using it, my acne prone spots weren’t as red and my face looked brighter and felt smoother.

Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel / This this and final peel from the Alpha Beta peel collection has the same concept but is a little bit stronger. I am so hooked on the universal ones because they worked perfect for my skin that I don’t even want to try the extra strength ones! BUT, since I do have them, I figured I should keep them tucked away for one of those weeks that my skin just can’t and needs extra help!

All in all (bring up any school memories?), Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare is well worth it. Some of the items are more affordable than others but they all work excellent. If you’re someone who has struggled with acne prone skin or is looking to try a new skincare regimen, highly suggest trying Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare!

I love the ideas of the peels from this skincare line and how they’re not exactly “peels” like we are used to thinking! I could definitely go for the one that’s for sensitive skin. Thank you for sharing!
