Drybar Harvard Square

Ali Webb’s popular blow out bar chain, Drybar, opened it’s third location in Massachusetts this past week in Harvard Square and as a Drybar lover I hopped all over the opportunity to go attend their grand opening. There’s nothing better than starting your weekend off with a blowout and a glass (or two) of champagne!

The new space is absolutely gorgeous, super easy to get to (take the red line to Harvard and it’s about a 3-5 minute walk from there!), and the atmosphere is so fun (duh). If you are looking for other Drybar options in Massachusetts, there is also one in Chestnut Hill and Back Bay! And if you’ve never been to a Drybar, I highly suggest you get to one ASAP because the experience in itself is something everyone should experience. Who doesn’t love a little pampering?

Curls are my go-to, so I decided to get the cosmo tai which is a mix between the cosmo and mai tai! It was a little curlier that I wanted, but my hair tends to fall easily which is secretly a lesson and a curse! The great part about is that it relaxed after a little bit, giving me a fun, loose hair-do. All is great in the world of hair.

Drybar products I love:

Blonde Are Brightening Shampoo and Conditioner / This shampoo and conditioner is seriously the bomb.com. Even though my hair isn’t blonde blonde (does that make sense??), I like to treat my highlights with a little TLC. Plus, it leaves my hair soft, smooth, shiny, and totally manageable.

Detox Dry Shampoo and Conditioner / Dry shampoo is where I’m at, amirite? For all you dry shampoo loving ladies out there, this lovely duo will prolong your blowout and there’s nothing better than not having to do your hair for a few days. Start with the detox dry shampoo to absorb oils and provide body and fulness to your second (or third, forth, fifth) day hair and finish with the detox dry conditioner to detangle, smooth, and hydrate your luscious locks.

Mai Tai Spritzer Sea Salt Spray / Sea salt spray is where it’s at. Spray this in your hair before styling for extra gorgeous curls and extra or give yourself a spray before air drying for an easy breezy look.

Money Maker Flexible Hold Hairspray / This is the hairspray of the century, ladies. I’ve never been much of a hairspray lady myself, but I do like to use it when I know I have a long day ahead of me. The flexible hold keeps your style in place without being stiff or crunchy.

The Morning After Shower Cap / Using dry shampoo and conditioner isn’t the only way to make your blow out last – this shower cap is seriously the key to success. The terry cloth that lines the cap keeps out moisture to really lock in your style. Use it in the shower, or even to bed!

What are your favorite Drybar products?
