Frosted Sugar Cookie Recipe

Everyone loves homemade treats, especially around the holidays, and what’s better than cookies? They’re easy, there are so many different types, kids loves them, and you don’t feel as guilty about eating bad when the serving is smaller – amiright or amirite?! This frosted sugar cookie recipe is a go-to in my house no matter what time of the year, but thanks to a recent trip to Target and the cutest fall themed cookie cutters, they will be served at Thanksgiving.

As a side note – don’t be afraid to use a lot of flour on your working surface, rolling pin, and on the actual dough. It can be very sticky (and frustrating) at first, so a little extra flour will make the job much easier! We are so excited to serve these cookies as part of the desert line up on Thanksgiving! I might color the frosting to mirror the cookie cutter shapes – but we’ll see!

What is your favorite cookie recipe?!
