For the last two years, I’ve been going to the St. Patrick’s Day parade in South Boston, mostly for drinking purposes, but I’ve never been a huge fan of the holiday itself. Actually, I’m not a huge fan of celebrating most holidays (SUE ME), but I do love decorating. Whether you want to stick those silly gel stickers on your windows (which I strongly love) or if you’re more of a classic “bring the color into your space” kind of gal, you can never go wrong with a little holiday decor.
Green has never been one of my favorite colors, or in my top five favorites for that matter. Yes, my bedroom is green (which, is strange now that I think of it) but it’s more of a pastel, spring green rather than a St. Patrick’s Day green. Anyways, the more I thought about it, the more I realized it’s easier to incorporate green into your home decor than you would think. It’s really all in the details, like adding this cactus print to your wall or by adding green leopard throw pillows to your couch alongside your neutral colored ones. This goes for any other colors you don’t like but maybe your significant other or roommate does – add a flecks of it here and there!
