Jacket: c/o Aritzia | Tee: Forever 21, old (similar) | Denim: c/o Aritzia (on sale!) | OTK Boots: Forever 21 (similar)  Purse: Michael Kors | Aviators: Ray-Ban | Lipstick: Yves Saint Laurent (in ‘Rose Stiletto’)

I never ever would have thought I’d be a motto jacket type of gal, never mind a leather motto  jacket gal, but now I realize that I am 100 percent. If you follow me on Snapchat, you know that I’ve been living in this jacket the last week or so, and I honestly cannot complain. Not only is it super cute and easy to dress up or down, but the details on it are stunning (from the collar down to the zippers).

I now believe that every girl needs some sort of motto jacket in their closet – it’s a great classic piece to own and I can’t wait to try to style mine in different ways (key word: try). Paired together with a great pair of jeans (I’m obsessed with these!) and a cute pair of OTK boots, you instantly give off a rocker chick vibe and are guaranteed to turn heads (I’ve gotten lots of compliments on this outfit, just sayin’….).

I’ve you’ve never shopped at Aritzia before, it’s honestly a dream (& they just opened their new store in Boston!). Everything that Aritzia carries is very effortless, contemporary, and high quality. Once you go visit their website, you’ll understand what I mean. I’m dying to get my hands on this super cute sweater (& it’s on sale!) to pair with a great pair of white denim for the warmer spring months. OK, so maybe every sweater Aritzia carries is the cats pajamas and needs to appear in my closet, like, yesterday.

You’ll have to pry this jacket off my dead body to ever get me to stop wearing it constantly. Have you ever shopped at Aritzia? What are your thoughts on the motto jacket trend?

Aw, thanks so much, Michaela! Would you prefer a hair tutorial on Snapchat or on the blog?

I love the jacket! And I love the touch of the tan bag to lighten up the look.

Thanks so much, Inez! I’m absolutely loving it as well. I find myself loving purses but not finding it necessary to buy new ones all the time, but I’ve been telling myself I need a black purse for AGES!

I had a leather jacket before but it wasn’t really my style. Something like this, however, is definitely up my alley! It looks super cute on you!

I never thought I’d ever wear a leather jacket, but this style is perfect because it’s still very feminine!
