Last week I headed into Boston and straight to Boston Burger Company with one of my gal pal’s, and I ate the best burger of my entire life. Now, I’m not typically one to order burger’s when I go out to eat, simply because they are always so freakin’ big but I couldn’t resist trying one of the thirty gourmet burgers that Boston Burger Company carries. I settled for the ranch burger (I’m not too adventures, sue me) and it was ah-mazing. Hands down one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had, in. my. life. Not only was the burger delicious, but so weren’t the homemade chips and wedge cut fries, and when I tell you these fries were huge, they were HUGE.
I seriously cannot wait to head back, next time I really want to try the conch bites (it’s a rarity you see these at a burger joint this far north), the buffalo cheese fries, and I think I might try to be more adventurous and get the inferno burger – spicy chilly mayo + homemade habanero salsa, yes please! If you’re in the area, I totally recommend you stop in for a bite to eat!
After lunch, Leah and I headed for a little tourist sesh around the beautiful city of Boston. It was a tad chilly and very windy, but we still had a blast. To warm up, we headed into L.A. Burdick Chocolates for a cup of hot chocolate, and it was so chocolatey and delicious. I went with the milk chocolate but they also have white chocolate and dark chocolate – I think next time I want to give the white chocolate a try. I always loved the white chocolate hot chocolate from Dunks but they don’t have it anymore and I’m super bummed that they stopped carrying it. Anyways, another great spot that I highly recommend. We ended our day by visiting the Boston Commons and the Public Garden and a quick stop into the Boston Public Library. It was the perfect ending to a fabulous day!
