Shopping With Uncommon Goods

‘Tis the season – no, not the Christmas season – but the gift giving season. Spring is my favorite time of the year, not only because of the weather, but because of all the gift giving opportunities. From Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, to high school and college graduations, birthdays, First Communion’s, Confirmation’s, and Baptism’s, just about every stage of life is celebrated over a short few months and I find it oh so exciting. The biggest struggle of it all, though, is finding the perfect present for that perfect occasion.

This is where Uncommon Goods comes in. Uncommon Goods is an online marketplace that focuses on selling handmade, recycled, and organic products, making an impact on the world, and making a difference by donating $1 of every order to a non-profit organization of your choice. If you’re asking me, it doesn’t get any better than that.

My biggest tip for shopping on Uncommon Goods: Don’t go looking for something specific. Keep an open mind. The amount of personalized gifts available will rock your socks off, and you’ll never shop anywhere else again. I seriously finished my shopping experience with the most amazing wallet – I swear it was made for me.

I’ve been in the market for a new wallet for awhile now, but wasn’t finding anything I loved so when I saw this wallet, I just knew I had to have it. I love how many cards I can fit in it, the clear slot for my license, the small change purse area that is so artfully hidden, and the fact that it’s made from vegan leather.

Even though it’s only May, I will definitely be heading back to Uncommon Goods to purchase my parents a unique anniversary gift for their 30th anniversary in September. Right now, I have my eye on the personalized ski & snowboard art but ask me again in a few months – I’m sure I will have added at least three more items to that list.

Have you shopped at Uncommon Goods before? What do you have your eye on as your next purchase?

UM, SERIOUSLY THOUGH! They have so many cute things. I’m totally swooning over this wallet for the summer, and it’s nice and thin so I can easily put it in my smaller purses!
