Before I talk about this super delicious summer drink, can we talk about my cup and napkin for a second? I was in Target a few weeks ago purchasing some necessities (ahem, Starbucks coffee) and stumbled upon the cutest to-go coffee cups. Turns out, they were designed by designlovefest for Cheeky and THERE WERE MORE GOODIES. Good thing my college grad party was coming up because you bet your bottom dollar that I purchased the napkins, coffee cups, plates, and plastic cups. The best part is that for every item you purchase from the line, a meal is donated to someone in need. It’s a win-win.
Now for the drink. Grey Goose is one of my all time favorite vodka brands. Every flavor, including original, is delicious, smooth, and perfect for any occasion. Because my friends know me so well, I typically get a bottle gifted to me for birthdays and any other gift-giving holiday – praise. Instead of going for my typical vodka sprite, I decided to switch it up and head over to the Grey Goose website and see what cocktail recipes they suggested.
After scrolling through all of the recipes and deciding on a few recipes that sounded delicious, I ended up going for the cape fizz cocktail. Man oh man is this drink delicious, pretty, and refreshing. I did end up switching out the decorative lime for a few slices of cucumber since we have an abundance around the house from our garden! If you haven’t tried this bad guy out yet (and you are of legal drinking age), write down this recipe quick and head to the store for all of the necessary ingredients!
