I have a love-hate relationship with trying new beauty products. One part of me is like “HELL YEAH!” and the other part is petrified that I am going to have a severe allergic reaction to whatever product I’m trying. Good news though. I didn’t get any allergic reactions from these products and I’m totally loving them (and maybe even addicted??).

Angel Veil Primer ($15) / I’ve been dying to try a primer because I’m weird and have never used one before. After asking for recommendations on Twitter, this was one of the cheaper options that I heard the best feedback about so I decided to go for it. So far, I am loving it. I swear it makes my skin feel like velvet and after an 8-hour shift at work, my makeup is still intact.

Dark Circle Concealer ($9) / Another raved about beauty product that I just had to try and I absolutely love it! I use concealer almost every day and having a canceler specific to the eye area is crucial. It’s not as heavy as a traditional concealer, erases under eye bags, and instantly makes me look more awake.

Facial Cleanser (Travel Size $8) / I have been dealing with acne since what seems like forever (*eye roll*) and Mario Badescu is known for his incredible acne line, so I felt as though it was time to get it a try and kick my acne to the curb. This cleanser is so gently on my face and I love that it’s non-foaming. My acne has been very calm and I AM SO HAPPY! If you have acne, I totally recommend you try this!

Drying Lotion ($17) / The holy grail of acne products. Getting a zit and have a big event to go to tomorrow? Toss some of this drying lotion on those problem spots, go to bed, and they are magically dried up in the morning. Be sure not to shake the bottle though! The drying lotion is supposed to work with the pink and the clear ingredients separated when you dip your q-tip into it for application.

‘Charged Up Cherry’ Nail Polish ($10) / I find myself reaching for the same nail polish colors time and time again and guess what? I found another nail polish color to add to the mix. I have been wearing charged up cherry all summer long (okay minus two manicures) and I even got my mum hooked on it. The perfect summer color? CHECK!

I’ve been wanting to try the NYX Angle Veil for so long! I’ve been searching for primers for the longest time because my makeup is pretty much off by the end of the day.

It’s so frustrating! I hate when I have to reapply throughout the day, it makes me feel so guilty! The NYX primer is the best!

I’ve only ever used an eyeshadow primer but have been wanting to try one for my whole face. I’ll definitely need to check out that NYX one because I love their brand.

I need to get an eyeshadow primer so bad – I feel like my eyeshadow comes off so quick! I definitely recommend this one for full face.

OPI is always a winner, and I’ve got that dark circle correcting eye stuff on deck! I’m currently rocking the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Glow face palette like it’s my JOB, and I’ve been wearing a dark plum essence cosmetics gel nail polish and it’s got me all ready for fall!

I need to try the Jaclyn Hill products ASAP! Everyone has been RAVING about them! I love me a good dark polish, too. There’s something so sleek about them!

Such great nail polish colors. I think you’re beginning to transition into fall colors!

Dark polish colors are my go to but this pink is so fun!

I have also been dealing with acne since the beginning of time ughhh. They go away for awhile and then come right back! It’s annoying. I think i’m gonna try the facial cleanser and see how it goes. I already like it because it’s not expensive lol.

I get more lines than dark circles but it still drives me nuts! This stuff works miracles.

I swear by the Mario Badescu acne products – really some of the best products on the market. The Drying Lotion (and the Drying mask, another favorite) are always in my medicine cabinet.

I definitely want to try that primer! I don’t really use it either, but I’m making it my goal to get more into makeup this year (lol)
