I absolutely love shopping at Sephora, Ulta, and Nordstrom for my make-up and beauty necessities, but there’s nothing better than the convenience, or the prices, of drug store products. I’ve gained a borderline obsession with trying all sorts of drugstore products – from mascara, to candy, to nail polish. Because of this little obsession of mine, I’ve come to find some of my favorite drugstore products that I can’t live without and I know you’ll love them as much as me!
Burt’s Bees Acne Solutions Spot Treatment | I’ve always struggled with acne since I was in middle school and I’ve tried so many products that are out there. Burt’s Bees has so many great products to start with so when I realized they had an acne solutions line, I had to try it. Paired with my Clearasil Ultra daily face wash, this spot treatment works amazingly. Apply it twice a day via a Q-Tip after washing your face and I promise you’ll see results rather quickly! Side note: this product stings a little bit after applying it but I just tell myself beauty is pain.
Suave Smoothing Lotion | Who doesn’t love Suave products? There are so many fantastic scents, sometimes its hard to choose which one I want to purchase! I apply this lotion to my arms and legs after my morning shower as well as before I head to bed. It smells so good and pairs perfectly with my Suave Naturals body wash in coconut.
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes | Out of all of the makeup remover cleansing wipes, the night calming ones are my absolute favorite. They easily remove waterproof makeup and don’t leave your face feeling greasy and don’t hurt your eyes. I’ve tried the natural ones before and after removing my eye makeup, my eyes would sting, which was a huge bummer.
Milani Brilliant Shine Lip Gloss in Ravish Raspberry | I am a lipstick lover and typically don’t wear lipgloss (mostly because I hate when my hair gets stuck in it, am I right or am I right ladies?) but I’m in love with this one, so much I might even buy a couple more colors! It looks gorgeous by itself but sometimes I put a thin layer of it over my YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick in ‘Le Fuchsia’, which I’m obsessed with!
U by Kotex Click Tampons | You’re probably thinking to yourself, “why would she include tampons in her drugstore favorites? That’s where everyone gets their tampons!” but I’m just so happy with these ones that I just had to share. I had always been a huge fan of the Playtex Sport tampons but one day I forgot to throw tampons in my purse and was in desperate need, so my friend let me take a couple of her U by Kotex Click tampons to throw in my purse. At first I had no idea what was going on or how they worked, but once I figured out that you just need to pull the applicator until it ‘clicks’ before using, I was like HOLY CRAP THESE ARE AMAZING. The small size makes it easy to throw them in small purses and makeup bags, as well are super easy to conceal if you need to throw one in your pocket quick!
Milani Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in Bella Charcoal | This eye shadow is so easy to apply and is so noticeable! I use the charcoal color at night but plan on purchasing it in ivory, sand, and chiffon for neutral day colors! What’s even better about the eyeshadow is the price for such great quality.
Magazines | I hoard magazines. It’s become such a problem that I refuse to throw them away after I read them – What happens if I ever need to go back and reference an issue? Now, I’m not a huge tabloid fan (yes, they’re fun to read, but I find them overpriced for such garbage!) so I stick to magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue, and InStyle. Lately though, I have caught myself picking up the latest issue of People Stylewatch, and I’m not hating it. I think, especially as a blogger, being up on the latest trends and issues in a women’s standpoint is very important!
