Every single weekend I’m faced with two issues: what I’m going to wear and what I’m going to put all my shit in. Usually it’s the “what am I going to put all my shit in” that gets me stumped. Sometimes I am selfish and make my friends let me put my keys, ID, and cash in their bags for me but I realized this is a bad idea just in case me and said friend get separated and need my things #strugglecity.
Since this realization, a whole new slue of issues – What bag am I going to carry? Do I need to go shopping to find a new bag that matches my outfit? How much space do I need? Is there enough space in my bag for snacks? Finally I have mastered the act of carrying a purse out on the weekend.
I’ve found that carrying some sort of clutch, wristlet, or cross-body bag are the best to carry on the weekends whether that means you’re headed to a concert, the bar, or simply doing errands! When you’re on the move, who wants to carry their big, bulky, day-to-day bag? Not me.
Keys // This one is obviously self-explanatory, but if it isn’t – how else am I going to get around town and into my apartment?
Lipstick (or chapstick) // I am obsessed with lipstick, like seriously obsessed. I’ve recently acquired a couple of theYSL Rouge Pur Couture Satin Radiance lipsticks and I absolutely adore them. There are so many colors to choose from and they are seriously so moisturizing that I can skip on lip balm.
Hard Candies // Hard candies are awesome, does that make me a grandma? It’s nice to be able to have a little sugar when you’re on the move and losing steam (and they taste great). Werther’s are the tastiest, you can get them sugar-free (if you’re into that kind of thing), there are a couple different flavors, and you can get chewy ones! Hard candy anyone?
Hair Ties // I always, always, always carry at least one hair tie with me. I honestly don’t trust any female that doesn’t have at least one in her wrist (is that rude, or?) but I like to keep backups because you never know when you’re going to need one, or when someone else will. The bar gets hot and sweaty, guys, especially when you’re dancing.
